While my roots trace back to Charleston, South Carolina, I’ve called Georgia home for the last 30 years. I’ve been married to my wonderful Christian husband, Brian, for over 17 years, and together we have three sweet girls. Being a stay-at-home mom is my primary role, but I also teach trauma trainings and substitute at my kids' school.
My passion for teaching and empowering others led me to actively engage in teaching Bible classes at Forrest Park church of Christ. I find great joy in leading classes for children, teens, and ladies, as well as speaking at women's events. The message of purity holds a special place in my heart, especially when shared with teenage girls. This passion inspired me to dedicate the most recent year of my life to authoring my book, "Radiant and Redeemed."
In terms of education, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Faulkner University and a Master’s in Social Work from Valdosta State University. I am currently a Licensed Master Social Worker and Trust-Based Relational Intervention® practitioner in Georgia. Throughout my professional journey, I've dedicated myself to making a positive impact on children and families who have encountered challenges within the Department of Families and Children’s Services. My roles have ranged from working as a therapist to conducting assessments, and from supervising a faith-based foster care agency to educating teachers and administrators about meeting the unique needs of children with trauma histories. My goal is to continue using my knowledge and experiences to serve and uplift others in my community.
